It's Finished - Just in time for another snowstorm!

I love painting big watercolors! It's so exciting to get a drawing done at this scale, and then see the image appearing, piece by piece. My hope with this one was to create the drama of the back lighting which makes the tree quite dark. The pattern of light scattered through the base of the scene adds to the luminescence. The finished size is 32 x 40".
