Ruby Red
One morning as I was weeding in my garden I looked up and saw that the sunlight shining through the leaves had turned the red stalks of the rhubarb into glowing, transparent shapes. This painting has been exhibited with the New England Watercolor Society, the Northeast Watercolor Society's National Exhibition, the Houston International Watercolor Exhibition, Watermedia International 2006, the Hudson River National Art Exhibition, and in Masters of Watercolor at the New Bedford Art Museum.
