Commission a Painting

Red Dawning on Katahdin
This plein air watercolor was done on an early fall weekend at the Frederic church camps on Millinocket Lake. Waking early I could see the red of the sky and the way the peak of the mountain was colored by the sky. It was so chilly that morning that someone in the workshop got his gloves for me so that I could finish the painting.
