I have been invited to participate in a "Plein Air" painting weekend from June 25-27 at The Lodge at Moosehead Lake, a beautiful wilderness retreat in Greenville, Maine. I will be joined by three other painting friends, and we anticipate a great time painting the gorgeous views from the lodge.
To celebrate being the first "
Visiting Artist" in Baxter State Park in 2009, two new giclee prints have been produced. The first print is "Cloud over Katahdin", and the second is from a painting done during the residency. It's called "Twilight, Daicy Pond", both may be seen on the Giclee print gallery. Please let me know if you would like to order one of these prints.
To my great joy, I won the Natural Resource Council of Maine's "
People's Choice Award" for contributions to conservation in Maine. What an honor; I know that I share that recognition with so many people who worked tirelessly to preserve Katahdin Lake.
